Angara A5/Blok DM-03 | Dummy payload

Failure

Angara A5/Blok DM-03 | Dummy payload

Failure reason: Upper stage failed to restart for 2nd burn leaving upper stage & payload simulator in LEO. As the resulting orbit would be completely unsalvageable by a hypothetical real payload, and the main purpose of the launch was to test the Persey upper stage, it should be considered a failure.

This is the third test flight of Angara A5 launch vehicle and its first flight with Persey upper stage. Since it's a test flight, the rocket carries a mass simulator payload.
